I turn on my phone and the screen is jacked...HELP!!!

my phone is a Sanyo SCP-6000. I just turned it on, and it had vertical lines on the screen.

this has never happened before, what should I do?? Sprint doesn't carry this phone anymore, so I'm SOL...

any ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to take out the battery and power back on? Cell phones can freeze up like PC's.

well, i did that, but it keeps on coming back. the phone is usable, just the screen has vertical lines on it. and the menus look fuzzy as well.

Damaged goods. Possibly a loose connection to the display... maybe a few bumps will get it to work for a bit, maybe opening it up and checking the connector? Otherwise, time to get a new phone. they have a $99 sanyo 8100 now... after rebates. Maybe you can score that... don't know if it's any good though.

I can't. My dad just got a new phone (Sanyo SCP-5300). Fortuanately, I'm still under warranty, so I can send for a new one.

I also recharged the battery last night after the last post I made to this thread. Still no good.
