I turn 18 in March....

OK, so I turn 18 in March, and I want to buy a gun. A few questions:
1) At 18 (I live in TN), what CAN you buy? Rifle, shotgun, or handgun. All 3?
2) I really wanna get a rifle. I've been shootin before and really like rifles. I'm up for long range shooting.

Suggestions?

I don't wanna carry a concealed. And thank you sonz. It is my right, and I'm not gonna go off and massacre people, I don't even like hunting that much. I like target shooting.
