yep - I've not had a problem with ebay yet but there are a few scammers on there.
 
You need to define this poll a little better.

What do you mean by ebay? Do you mean the software/interface? The users of ebay? The whole experience of buying/selling on ebay? The people who own ebay?
 
Ive bought and sold probably over 600 items on ebay, with maybe 5 complaints or so total. So all in all, considering how much cheaper it is, I love it. Of course, you must use your own due diligence.

I bought a Craftsman tool set from a seller with over 6000 positive feedback (I want to say 99.x%). My item never shipped (~$155), his account disappeared, and Paypal didn't do anything in a reasonable time frame. I had to call the CC and dispute the charge.
 
Amazingly I've only sold stuff... I've sold over 20 items but haven't bought a single one. Shows my trust of fellow humans I guess.
