I think you're subconciously picturing foolish llama-sheep-lemming hybrids tossing their money at a cruddy "isp" :).

anybody can read all they want, your privilages are in the relm of replying and changing you password in your profile. any farther than that, I don't really know what you can do. <edit>from AOL that is</edit>

bigredguy, I hope you are a Nebraska fan, otherwise you suck! ;):)
AOL is banned because of trolls that were contributing negaitivly to the forums AND AOL's flat out refusal to aid the mods/admin of this website in finding the source of the problem.

Reason: Too many trolls from AOL, and AOL didn't give a rat's. AT approached AOL and got nada.

You make that sound like a crime that AOL doesn't care one tiny bit that a user is messing with a message board.

don't turn this thread into the AOL savior thread you already tried to create. Everyone that was here for it knows that GUTB and the multiple personalities there about were more that "messing" with the forums. He clearly violated his user agreement with AOL, if you don't know where or how, you haven't read the agreement very well.

It's not about AOL.

I don't see why you must come to such a radical conclusion and attempt to ridicule myself in such a manner.

I would say the same about Earthlink, Pacbell, etc.. Why in the world should they care? There's more to life than computer forums and those that dwell upon them.

YOU made it about AOL. mdennison asked a specific question about why he was banned when logging in from AOL, and some continued to ask about why, all I did was answer. I didn't state anything that wasn't true, nor did I say other companies were not guilty, most know that you can't use a hotmail or yahoo email for similar reasons, but in terms of ISP's AOL is probably more guilty of non-cooperation than any other ISP.
