I tried to order the Asus A7M266 Board and they told me....

I ordered the following over the weekend.

256MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM
AMD TBIRD 1.33GHZ 266FSB CPU
ASUS A7M266 Mainboard

I just got an email from the company stating that the ASUS A7M266 is being recalled and they can not ship it.

No I have no Motherboard.

What do you guys & girls reccomend I get for my mainboard? I will be running a 1.33GHZ at 266MHZ along with the DDR SDRAM at 266.

I believe A7A266 is nice board.. but if you need one now, i'd recommend Iwill Ka266-R.

Recalled? They got that wrong. It's being temporarily discontinued to to chipset shortages.

You ordered it from TCComputers I can see.... anyways they are basically lying... it hasnt been recalled or anything, Asus just stopped production for now because of not enough AMD 761 chips being made.

I will not be overclocking and I ordered the A7M266 through a company called "Spartan Technologies, Inc."

Should I wait for the A7V266 or just buy the Gig-a-byte board?
