I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter...........

I had to fall to lose it all.................

Nah, not singing in the shower, but this song describes what I am going through right now...............

I didn't say they were good...but calling a group/singer overrated is a cop out. Anyone with musical talent has the potential of being overrated...and even some without any talent at all are overrrated.

... not quite getting at what you're trying to say. I just think that a lot of people "like" them because they are popular, not because they actually like the music. therfore, they are rated/liked better than they actually should be... or something like that.

linkin park is overrated.

hey, it was a good song... a couple of years ago...

I haven't listened to Linkin Park for about two years, hell, I didn't even know who they were. One of my employees used to play the cd at closing time, and I liked it. I was at best buy, and I saw the cd when I was browsing, so I bought it. I miss those guys I used to work with 🙁. Also, since the lyrics in the songs pretty much describe things I am going through ATM, it makes for good workout music.

That's life, tho. At the end of the day, you're dust in the wind anyway (to paraphrase Kansas) 🙂

are you talking about your fractured relationship with wife?

Yes, and I work for her father , and "office politics" amongst other things(I had to live up to a double standard, and he always felt like if he gave me an inch, it would anger the other managers.) kept me from ever reaching my full potential. It just seemed like the harder I tried to keep everyone happy, the more I got used and back stabbed. I have done some soul searching, and I found out why I was (was, not am) a people pleaser. I broke up my family about 7 years ago, and I have been afraid to speak my mind ever since then. I have since realized that avoiding confrontations for the sake of others feelings is counter productive.
