Wasn't really as troll post as what he said is accurate.. and on topic. Unless you mean him using the slang term "i love you" for a cigarette, which isn't really trolling.

Thank you, I actually posting something very specific to the thread, agreeing with the OP.

He didn't say anything about how he looks smoking a pipe. He also didn't use the word "i love you".

Well given that I've never smoked a pipe, how you look with it is about the limit of my knowledge on the subject and still completely on topic with regards to pipe smoking. As for the word i love you it means cigarette, it's fine. I'm English, it's a very very very normal word to use here.

This is not england. Also why post if you have nothing to add?

But I am English. I did have something to add, I added the fact that IMO people look better smoking pipes than any other method of smoking, meaning that the OP has made a good choice with regards to smoking, in terms of contributions to threads on this forum, that is a perfectly valid example of one.

Fuck it.

OP: What kinda pipe? I've been thinking about buying one soon.
What are thoughts on using an antique pipe?

I got a briar pipe. Owner had an assortment of starter pipes for $30. Just choose whatever fits in your hand nicely and aesthetically appeals to you. It could be a $500 pipe and not be a good smoker for you, so don't spend too much money.

The tip and the bowl fit snugly together, it draws nice - and that's all I need, really. The finish also looks nice.

I want to try a pipe. I have no tobacco past, but I think it changes one's look to be a bit more distinguished... don't you think?

Corn cob is a great smoking pipe, and about as cheap as it gets. It's a good way to start, so you can see if you're into pipes.

Do you know who it was carved/made by?

Also welcome to the way tobacco should be enjoyed. Cigars and pipe are the way to go.

What kind of tobacco? Oh and were you good and smoked it all the way down and cleaned it properly? 😛
