actually it's a really nice day to take a day off in these parts Zeze. Go to Mitsuwa marketplace and have some smashing Santouka Ramen - just bring your own poached egg, somehow they have a top bowl of ramen in every way, broth-noodles-pork, but they fuck up the egg. It's bizarre. the bubble tea place on the water there is actually pretty good too.

You think so? It's kind of like getting bonus time off. Not only was the weekend longer, the next week at work is shorter. The shorter week provides at least 30% of the enjoyment of a long weekend.

I went to my boss one time and told her I needed to take the rest of the day off because my wife called and she wanted to take a half day off and come home and take a nap with me.

My boss laughed and gave me the time off with pay as mental health time.

I ran home and jumped into bed and 3 minutes later the wife came in and we slept away the whole afternoon.
