I took my Diablo 2 cd out of my drive finally...

It's been in there for about a month straight without ever taking it out because it's all I used. They patched it last night. It screwed my 3 characters. I'm not going to start over new characters that are able to play well in 1.08 and probably get just completely nerfed in a future patch. What a waste of time.

I have my half-life cd in now. World War 2 Online is coming in tomorrow but I want to try Day of Defeat since it is suppose to be really kickass. But I HATE why everything is connected to fileplanet. I swear there is not a single place that hosts their own HL patch and files. EVERYTHING GET IT FROM FILEPLANET. Ya know what I hate fileplanet. Its too busy and slow and the only server that works is the primary fileplanet one or whatever.

Oh yeah, down with CS.

<office space> I'm gonna have to ahead and uh, disagree with ya there.</office space> Well file planet can also suck me and D2 is kinda suck now but it wouldn't be if I was a newbie and was starting a new character. Well for the most part anyway.

Ended up getting the patch very fast from the auto update and the mod at about 100k/sec but the 1.2 update was a measly 25k/sec and that was the fastest one I tried out of about 6 mirrors!

My problem is just that it screwed all 3 of my cookie-cutter builds. I'm not going to take the time and make new characters.
