I took a shower earlier and my ear has been plugged since then...

Mine usually fixes itself by either (draining while you sleep) or if you yawn just right ... Of course it has to be a natural yawn.

Good luck, I feel your pain.

lean to the right and shake your head. if that fails...

get a cotton swab, and swirl it around in there. if that fails...

drop a couple drops of rubbing alcohol in your ear. swirl and repeat step 1.

You're right, try some herbals or tea. Maybe Native American pube hair will work as well. For crying out loud, he has water in his ear.

Have you tried jumping all around the home with the plugged ear faced down? Kind of like an upside down L?

Lol ...about the post right above...

Sorry to hear tat - I think yawning won't really work in this case since the pressure differences build up because of the water instead of air... i think just use some cotton buds... or you gotta try to sleep - let it dry off :p

That's really weird. Every time I swim I never get plugged ears, even if I stay underwater for a while.

I dont think he has water in his ears. Water usually dry out fast, so it couldn't have plugged him for hours. More likely its the ear wax that plugged it. Find something similar like this in your house, fill it w/ warm water, and gently squeeze the water into your plugged ear. Using cotton swab when ear is plugged by ear wax is probably not a good idea. My doctor told me that the swab could push the ear wax even further down the tunnel (which happened to me one time).
