I am not certain the year but I think it is a 2004, it is a Suzuki 50 Quadsport. The guy claims he lost the key and it has supposedly been sitting up a couple years. I looked at it and bought it tonight in the dark and I assumed it was electric start. When I got home I realized it was pull start and there is no resistance when pulling the rope and it retracts like normal. I called the dealership Friday when I first talked to the guy and asked about a key. They said if the numbers are viseable on the ignition i can get a key made for 20, if not I have to buy an ignition.

Does it feel like it has compression at all...? Or is it like the pull starter is not engaging at all...?

I would get a key and just try to bump start it before i dug into the recoil system.
I had a Trail 50 when i was little that the kickstart got busted up on. Even my 9 year old self could bump start it.

I took off the pull rope assembly and I could turn the engine over so it has compression, for whatever reason something inside isnt catching

edit: I bent a metal plate out a little and now it turns over, I am about to get some oil and gas
