I thought you were able to install XP on 2 comps?

I read on Anandtech somewhere that you were allowed to install XP on 1 desktop and 1 laptop. Is that true? If it is true, how do I do it?

I know you can do that with Office XP. But I never remember hearing the same for Windows though.

Do a search with the underused search feature. Most of these threads ended up being a bunch of people telling the original poster that you cannot install it on more than 1 machine. Thats partially true. You can install it on as many machines as you want. You just need a license for each. Duh. Dont like it? Use consumer friendly software

At one time I thought that you could also..But now I seem to doubt that you legaly can. What you could try to do is sift through that mountain of hoopla that they call a EULA and then hire a lawyer to decipher it all
