Let the flaming begin!!!!

So I suppose this is an offical Troll thread then .....
Yeah, it makes it easy when the OP explicitly states he's trolling :)

I've never understood why the mainstream lefties on this board don't try to distance themselves from stuff like this...

Though it might have something to do with why almost no one in the original thread disagreed with the quote in my sig...

It's hilarious.. and Mr. Bowfinger is incensed that we are not contributing to this very serious discussion ;)

We're doing what needs to be done: ridicule for stupidity. Call me a thread crapper, but this whole thread is a sh*t topic.

Personally, I see more parallels between current European society and Nazis.

"We have seen this kind of thing before... I would never say that this is the beginning of a new Holocaust. But this is how it starts." - Barbara John, Germany's former commissioner for foreigners.

OK, you're a thread crapper. But that's hardly newsworthy.

For what it's worth, I'm not at all incensed. Not even angry. I find it both amusing and instructional that you bleating Bushies are so consistently unable or unwilling to support your positions. Attack and divert, attack and divert; it's a full day of Hard Work for you. Hard Work.

It's not a new complaint. I've raised the same issue hundreds of times in the last 18 months. I've concluded it's due to some combination of your limited reasoning capabilities and the weak positions you embrace.

Call me when the first Amendment is cancelled, Bush outlaws Congress, or mass round-ups occur. Until then, keep your fantasy world where it belongs... in your own sick mind.

I'll call you as soon as he gets Patriot II passed. It's on his agenda. Part of his 'political capital.'

Never mind that that will be too late.

I am constantly astounded by how badly some of you just don't get it. Thanks to you, we are losing democracy to scoundrels and special interests. You lounge around on your over-stuffed, ignorant, complacent butts and think democracy is an entitlement instead of something you must work to preserve. Staying aware and informed is hard work, but it's the price of democracy. Right now you and your ilk are living off Informed-Citizenry Welfare, and there are no longer enough of us to support all of you.

Oh yes, high arrogant elite one... please save the democracy (for us incapable red-staters). First course of action for you should be to make outlandish Hitler/Reich claims that would get you laughed off any serious national debate panel. Never mind us... preserve the Republic from the Fascists!

Thanks, I'll do my best. It would really help if you Bushies would read a paper once in a while though. Believe it or not, that "news" you get from Limbaugh and Coulter and White House press releases and Swift Boat Liars ads isn't always terribly accurate.

(I'll also note for the record that as much as you Bushies squawk about Bush/Hitler comparisons, I have yet to see you offer any factual, objective information to refute them. I assume that's because you're terrified that if you actually did any research, you'd learn it's even worse than you fear, puncturing your fragile Bush-is-god delusion and plunging you into the cold, harsh reality of how easily they used your fears to manipulate you. But that's just a guess.)

This looks to become yet another thread where the Bush apologists use every trick in the book except actually addressing the points raised in the article.
You mean points like this:

When the World Trade Towers collapsed, most Americans simply refused to believe suggestions that the attacks had been staged by parties working for the US Government itself. Americans were afraid to, even as news reports surfaced proving that the US Government had announced plans for the invasion of Afghanistan early in the year, plans into which the attacks on the World Trade Towers which angered the American people into support of the already-planned war fit entirely too conveniently.
You'll pardon me for dismissing that entire "article" out of hand. Oh, I'm sure you believe its gospel.
No, I won't pardon you for dismissing the article out of hand. That's your problem. If you think the article is wrong, misguided, whatever, back it up with facts and figures and evidence supporting you point of view. As a group, you and the other bleating Bushies spend your entire existence attacking the left instead of supporting the right. For God's sake, put up or shut up. Use those stones you're throwing to build your case, for sheer novelty value if nothing else.

Explain why I should back anything up with anything.........it's like you're asking me to back up my opinion that that the bat boy article in the Weekly World News is a work of fiction.

Tell you what, you provide any single shred of evidence that the Bush Administration planned 9-11, Mr. "facts and figures", skip the innuendo and move right on to the concrete evidence if you please.

LOL.

If you're going to post in the thread, you ought to be able to support your position. If you cannot or will not, then shut up. You're just a thread-crapper and/or a troll. Go find another thread, or better yet, find something useful to do with your time.

I already said this, of course. I suspect you won't attempt to read it this time either.

So is it your position that the Bush Adminstration planned 9/11 as a means to invade Afghanistan?

Odd that the lefties will believe anything written that presents the Bush administration in parallel to Nazi Germany. The article linked above contains not a single compelling piece of evidence to support its premise, yet the likes of Bowfinger simply accept it as truth without question.

I need convincing Bowfinger, your are failing miserably at that task.

Glad to see you finally beginning to address the article, but you had to do it under the guise of a personal attack, of course. That's all the "likes of [ you ]" do. Now if you'll only try a little harder to focus on the points in the article, you might actually begin a process commonly referred to as "discussion".

Personally, I don't believe it's likely the Bush administration planned 9/11, though it's not inconceivable or unprecedented. I am more suspicious that the Bush administration may have allowed 9/11 to happen to serve as a catalyst for their agenda. If we ever commit as much resources and effort into investigating 9/11 as we did into Clinton's sex life ($15M vs. $70M), we may someday learn whether that suspicion is warranted.
