That's not a "real" rumor either.Hate to be a debbie downer but the upgraded Galaxy Nexus is the only "real" rumor we have so far. The rest is just speculation and fanboy dreaming by blogs. And given how Verizon essentially screwed over the idea of a Nexus in the first place i have a hard time seeing Google doing another carrier launch
November: upgraded Galaxy Nexus sold unlocked for 350 bucks through Google themselves
What I really want is a larger Nexus that has a screen res like the iPad and NOT like the Transformer or any other Android tablet. (except for HP touch-pad maybe) I just cannot understand why Android tablet manufacturers cannot get it through their heads that people might want to do something else on their tablet except for internet, games and movies... like... uhh.. READ?!
Reading on a wide display is horrible! One is forced to always read in landscape mode to have more text fit. It's unnatural and it sucks. On the iPad the screen is more squarish, like a regular sheet of paper. And that is why it will always be better for reading unless Asus and Samsung get their shit together.
A Google Nexus 10-inch class tablet is in the works, CNET has learned.
The 10.1-inch tablet will boast a pixel density that is higher than Apple's third-generation iPad, said Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch.
The 2,560x1,600 display will have a PPI (pixels per inch) of about 299, said Shim. That tops the 264 PPI on the 9.7-inch 2,048x1,536 Retina iPad.
"It's going to be a high-end device," Shim said -- in contrast with Google's $199 Nexus 7 and upcoming $99 tablet.
But probably the biggest news is the partnership with Samsung. "They'll partner with Samsung and cobrand it with Samsung," Shim said.
To date, Google has partnered with Asus on the Nexus 7 tablet.
A co-branded tablet with Samsung would be a significant broadening of Google's relationship with Samsung. Google already cobrands the Galaxy Nexus Samsung smartphone.
Shim characterized his information about the 10.1-inch Nexus as "supply chain indications," which typically indicates a high likelihood that the product will come to fruition, according to Shim.
Shim also confirmed that Google will start production on a $99 tablet in December.
Back in July, the DisplaySearch analyst correctly predicted the new Kindle Fire tablets that launched in September.
CNET has contacted Google for comment and will update this report when we learn more.
I do prefer the 4:3 form factor of a 10" tablet over 16:9Good luck holding that large square phone...
I've never had a problem reading in portrait or landscape on any device.
I hope it's not 4.7". 4.3" would be good. This may be my next phone. Although for me to get an LCD phone it would have to be as good or better than the display on the One X.
With S4 Pro i should be able to skip the 2013 Nexus.

I don't know how much I like that sparkly back though. Looks hidious TBH.
Recently leaked pictures suggest that the LG Nexus will be based on the Optimus G. The handset is said to feature a 4.7-inch screen with a 1280 x 768 resolution and 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with Jelly Bean. We’re fast approaching the one-year anniversary of the Galaxy Nexus announcement, so whatever Google has in store is expected to be revealed shortly.
What we've seen so far of the LG nexus looks good to me though, the only thing I don't like is the rumored 8/16gb of space on it.
I very much doubt that the LG Nexus is the "occam". Surely that's the Moto Nexus (esp. when they've now used the RAZR name outside VZ limits for the RAZR HD (Euro release imminent).I'm surprised people haven't been talking about the LG nexus here, there are pictures all over the place of it and it seems pretty much a sure thing now. I'm thinking there's still going to be only one nexus phone this year, we've seen way to many leaks of the LG nexus and nothing of any other nexus phones so I don't think the multiple nexus rumor is going to pan out which is kind of disappointing.

Also, the rumored Samsung 25*16 "manta" Nexus 10" with Exynos 5 is drool-worthy. As for the LG, I have to say if Google sticks to these tiny storage capacities and no SD slot, I may never own another Nexus after my 32gb Gal Nex.

Pretty much as slam dunk. If that back is glass and it doesn't have a 32GB option. I better damn well be dirt cheap.
Yeah, I'm hoping the 8gb ones we've seen are just because they're prototype units, that's an insanely small amount of storage.
