I wish that they were dead, back in the day those things were some of the most poorly built monitors that I have ever seen.

my KDS 15 inch LCD has been working fine for yeeeaars. use it as a second monitor

Roughly 90% of them that come into the recycling center are still perfectly good - that's a better ratio than Viewsonic, and hell, better than SONY.

Bought KDS 17'' CRT monitor and it worked fine for 4 years.

appereantly not. although i remember those monitos as not that good. they kinda sucked.
