I thought ATI stopped making cards?

I had thought that ATI stopped making their own cards, since I haven't seen any since the HD 2xxx series. Well, just saw an ATI branded 3870 here. Not that great a price, but decent clocks especially on the RAM.

Read the third line, it is a Best Data brand card.

The rebate form is for Diamond Multimedia. So it is either Best Data or Diamond Multimedia or they are the same company?

Best Data == Diamond Multimedia. The former bought the latter a few years ago.

Interesting. I even enlarged the pic and no brand shows up besides ATI. Ahh well, I fail.

My HD 3870 X2 was an ATi branded box; the cards' cooler was sticker/logo-less.
The driver discs said Diamond on them, so i wonder if they are making cards for ATi now?
