I've put together a list of what I think I will be ordering soon. This is my first build so I want everything to go by smoothly. I'm not much of an O'Cer but I may try it. If it works then I will do it. Here's what I got:

Mother Board: DFI LANPARTY UT nf4 Ultra-D
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint P Series 160 gb. SATA2
RAM: OCZ 1gb. Dual Channel RAM
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Core
Video Card: ASUS Radeon X800XL
PSU: Xclio 450BL ATX 450watt
OS: Microsoft Windows XP w. SP2
CPU Cooler: ZALMAN CNPS7000B-CU 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan/Heatsink

I have the rest of the system, I just have to know if there is any incompatibility issues. Please let me know if there are.

Do you think they will work good for everyday basic stuff like gaming, photoshop, web desing, school work, etc... I don't need it to be light speed but should it handle everything fine?

CAn you send me a link to that fortron, I think I know wich one but I think I read bad reviews on it...

looks good though i didn't have much luck oc'ing my dfi with that x-clio. it was fine at stock and about 15% and then it started choking.

Yea I really don't intend to do overclocking untill my next PC so I can experiment with this one. I don't want to take any chnaces messing up a perfectly good system.

I disagree. I hadn't built a new system for 6 yrs and I just built one with the DFI board and I had no problem at all granted I haven't started overclocking it yet. But get it up and running was very easy.

I have heard alot about them XP-90 specialy in these forums. May go ahead do that although the Zalman just looks cool. I have a Antec 1000AMG PlusView Case and I want it to look good so thats the only reason I would chose Zalman over the XP-90. Also yea it's deff. not a budget system it's more of a system that took me a whole year to save up for. Also I like the DFI boards I think I should be able to handle that without any problems. I heard the Epox's were good, but I don't like the design of them it seems a bit small and with my case wich is a full tower those wont go together very well.

Looks good to me. I guess you'll be using it for gaming, since you're getting an X800XL.

Only 2 comments.
1) Many people have said that DFi is hard to set-up for a first time user. If your comfortable with it fine, but just remember that it may not be a walk in the park to set-up.
2) As some ppl have already posted, you can get 2GB RAM so cheaply these days, that it's probably worth buying it now rather than needing to upgrade later.

well you'd have to research your parts before.

on that note, i've purchased the dfi lanparty ultra-d before, and tried sticking normal corsair value in, wouldn't fit no matter how hard i pushed. so i exchanged it for a msi k8n neo4 platinum, and it fit perfectly. and no i didn't buy the wrong model or anything. dont go corsair if u go dfi.

Just my opinion but Asus has great manuals for their boards.
If you're overclocking, you could save a little money with the Venice core 3000+.
SATA not recommended for beginner.
And, if you get the Zalman heatsink, you may want to pack your motherboard in one box and the rest of your computer in another box. They say that thing is so heavy, it could crack your motherboard when you move your computer.

Yea RAM is pretty cheap these days although I'm not gonna be playin any major games like BF2 that require 2gb. ram. the only thing it will be good for now is multitasking like video editing and web design.

If I do get it now I will just get two sticks of what i have picked out. (If i have enough money)

As far as the motherboard goes I don't wont any problems so what's a good full size mobo thats not cheap and will last me a good time. Price range of $110-$160

Is SATA really that big of a deal I never heard that is wasnt for begginers. If it isnt then I will just get like IDE-133 or sumthin

Ok I've been doing some research and I found this motherboard for a price that is very reasonable. Now all I need to know is wich RAM will work best with this because I know the DFI hates Corsair so will corsair work with this one?
