In order to enter a contest closing tonight/tomorrow I must get my entry in!
Problem is, the probram is saying my default mail client (Outlook Express) is not properly installed! :Q (Funny, it's worked for everything else...)

So, time to fire up my Office 2000 and run the real Outlook. Everything's all configured and recieves mail fine, but how do I set it to be the default mail client and thus, hopefully, end this problem? I'll probably stick with Outlook but might go back to Express since it's worked so well for so long.

I know this doesn't really belong in GH, but this is where the action is and I really need your help fast! Much appreciated, good Ananders! 😀

EDIT: Not sure what the problem is/was but we worked around it. Thanks!

In IE, you should be able to go Tools > Internet Options > Programs (tab) > E-mail (dropdown). I think that'll set whatever you want as the default mail client.

Sounds like maybe Shuttle is pulling a fast one then.... Shuttle logo contest form.
No matter what mail client, Outlook, Express or Hotmail... they all get the same error.
Possibly a fake error.... it's not my end at fault. :|

No, no, it works. I just tried it.
Here's the work-around (all the web form does is organize the stuff in your email message for you):
First, compose a message to shuttlenews@tw.shuttle.com.

Enter your information in the following form (replace my dummy data):

Dear Shuttle:There are my register informantion for XPC Logo Design Contest!! My name is bob k saget. My shipping address is 3443 Anystreet Dr. , Pasco, wa, 99301, USA. My telephone number is (Daytime):509-999-1234 , (Evening):509-888-4567. My E-mail address is limes_n_chips@hotmail.com . ** Please remember attach your art-work !! **

Then attach your image(s) to the email and send.

God, whoever was in charge of putting on this contest shouldn't have been. The grammar isn't even right. Oy.
