I think this is the phone for me. Sony-Ericsson W800i.

My Motorola V66 is getting old and I've been looking at getting a small MP3 player.
This combination could be right.. From what I understand it's a GSM Tri-band so it will work with T-Mobile.

go with the Treo 650 instead. It's expandable via SD cards... I use mine as an MP3 and movie player.

and what's with:

But even though 512Mb is impressive, it's nothing compared to the standard 4Gb in an iPod Sony Ericsson W800i back mini. We believe that the W800 can be upgraded to a more impressive 2Gb though.

hmm, it's not taller than 3/4s of my hand (and that's only because of the antenna that's about an inch tall)

Yeah but the W800 is smaller. I like the size of my current phone and don't like to go as big as the Treo 650.
