I think these shoes are defective, what about you?

So i'd had the Adidas Stan Smith Classics for a yr, and they where getting old so I decided to get the Stan Smith Milleniums.

Now after less than 6 months the shoes are less confortable and wearing out more than my older ones.

See here

WTf the part in the back is rubbing off. I feel these shoes are defective, do you think addidas would replace them?

I think you just bought crappy shoes. No sane shoe company in the world will replace 6 month old shoes that have been worn everyday.

Replacing at this point seems like a stretch, but also that sort of wear does seem a bit funky!

Alright I guess the newer adidas' are just crappy quality. O well I just got a pair of Puma Californias

It looks like you bought shoes that weren't correctly sized to your feet.

No the are exactly the same size as the old ones and fit just the same.

Obviously, your heels are rubbing on the backs of the shoes, or they wouldn't be wearing out there.

How much less than six months? When I worked for Reebok six months was considered the standard expected life for an athletic shoe, less for heavy use (run 2-3 miles every day = heavy). If they were 2-3 months old we would have replaced something like that, but not at 6.

They aren't slip ons you should tie the laces every time you put them on and untie them when you take the shoes off.
