You can buy the fusetalk source code for $2000 and then probably modify it until you are blue in the face if you so desire.

It looks like they got the source code and modified it. Well they do need the source code to be able to modify it. And unless someone gave them a copy, it is more then likely purchased. Zuni would know for sure.

Looks like it is running in standard mode (enhanced allows for the avatars and icons instead of the dropdown fuctions they have there).

On 2nd thought (looked again), they aren't set up at all for avatars!

Some simple reverse engineering available just by using the forums and paying attention to the URL information is enough for just about anyone with any knowledge of database/web programming to develop something very similar. I have thought about building my own forums for internal use within our company on a MSSQL/ASP platform. It would not be hard at all.
