I think PC Power & Cooling has designed a PSU specifically for Intel's Pentium D processors!

Jesus Christ, check out this monster! 950W peak power at $484!!! :Q And I thought a 650W PSU was overkill. But checking out the Pentium D 840 power consumption, this PSU MIGHT be able to get you by. ;)

Or this might go well with my dual 275's with SLI G70's and tyan dual workstation board all water cooled and phase changed. MMMMMM wattage. MMMMM amps. Must heat my room after I air condition it to keeps temps down then up MMMMM to much time on my hands MMMMM

I remember everyone saying that you need 480 watt PSU to run 6800Ultra and 3 months later we see people with 300-350 watt good quality PSU running it just fine. I agree power consumption is going up but something like an Enermax 565 with dual 18A 12V rails for $100 on Newegg will serve you just fine with any rig you have.

And I thought my 600W Seasonic PSU was overkill :p

Edit: geez, you could just about get an A64 X2 for the price of that power supply...
