Hmmmm Ask her for some "extra credit work"

Is she hot?

Pics?!

That is what is even more mysterious! I've never seen her, nor do I know anything about her, since it is an online class. While I assume she has the capability of looking up my records to find out about me, she still has never seen me either. It's cool that she likes me though! :D

In that case, you really need need a "real woman". Getting excited by someone who you've never met before is borderline pathetic...

I thought it was cool my professor valued my opinions and thoughts in the conversation. How many times does that happen in class? Rarely, if ever. It's like going to work and having your boss tell you that you did a great job in front of your coworkers. Doesn't happen that often.

In any case, you really need a "real life". Making weak assumptions and reading more into this thread is pathetic.

I have a life, a very good one I might add. You're as pathetic as they come. You're stroking it thinking you're a real ladies man. You posted 3 messages until Zenmervolt says she was in all reality joking. Then you turn into "It was a joke, it was a joke".

And your early posts don't imply anything more than "Oh, my professor wants me" as expressed in the following:

At first I was: Then I was: I'm still not sure what to think! Note: I was the only guy who showed up for the chat session. That is what is even more mysterious! I've never seen her, nor do I know anything about her, since it is an online class. While I assume she has the capability of looking up my records to find out about me, she still has never seen me either. It's cool that she likes me though.

Then someone suggests the account was hacked and you get all defensive:

I am sure it was her. The school has specific chat serves setup that we have to log on and authenticate into. Then we use a proprietary chat software that has built in PM capabilities, and the message came from that client. No mistaking that!

What school and what class? Lets get some pics of this woman before you get all hot and bother about what she meant or didn't mean.

You read way too far into things. Maybe if you had a real life as you claim, you wouldn't have time to over analyze a post on an OT forum.

I think the fact that I said I'm still not sure what to think is a very obvious joke. I look as serious as the guys posting girl threads...haha goes to show what you know. If I was like the guys in the other thread, I would have said something like, "my prof wants to bone me."

I think it says less about you than it says about the guys who post the other threads. :)

Just because you read something you don't understand, doesn't mean you should assume someone is like the other people that hang out here.

It's not good to stereotype people.

You were parodying something, and the parody was nearly indistinguishable from the object of the parody. You can accuse me of stereotyping if you want, but it's impossible to approach 100,000 people on an internet forum on a personal basis, and there has to be some grouping. You post a thread that looks like the typical ridiculous girl threads, don't get all put out when people think you're similar to those who write the typical girl threads.

Believe me, I think it's hilarious when people respond with "pics" or "she wants you" or something stupid like that. Then you show up trying to be all serious. Just because you've been hurt in the past doesn't mean you need to come in, make false generalizations and crash my party.

If you'll glance around, I'm not the only one who responded as if it were a serious question (and even if it were, a lot of the people would have responded with the "pics" and "she wants you" answers anyway).

So you had a joke misinterpreted, it's not the end of the world. If that crashes your party, you really have a weak party going. :p

Your apology is accepted.

And if my party is so weak, why did you come in the first place and stay around?! :p

I'm not reading into anything, I'm reading what you wrote. Maybe you think it implies something when it doesn't...

Anyways, I was participating up until we got on a subject that I had nothing to add beyond what my classmates were, so I said nothing. After about 10 minutes when the topic changed I responded to the topic.

My professor then said to the entire class: There you are dirtboy-

I then PMed her to say that I didn't really have anything to add, so I just kept quiet, because I wanted her to know that I had been there the whole time so she wouldn't mark down any points for my disappearance.

She PMed me back with this: I understand. We ladies just got lonely for you:)

At first I was: :Q

Then I was: :D

I'm still not sure what to think! :)

Note: I was the only guy who showed up for the chat session.

sounds like she' s just being funny since you're the only guy there. "we ladies" must mean everyone in the chat session. and i dont see anything wrong with her calling you dirtboy. that is your username, after all.
