I think my wisdom teeth are coming in

you should be able to feel a bump with your tongue where the teeth should be and soon feel some cusp tips if they are that close to erupting.

I have plenty of Advil. Will that work?

Yeah... those wisdom teeth are gonna need to come out. Don't worry, a little general anesthesia and some hydrocodone and you'll be good to go.

Oh, and Scarlett Johanson was on Letterman last nite and she said her's were coming in too, but she's only 21. I'm 27. Is that late?

Advil will work.

have you ever had xrays to verify that you even have wisdom teeth?
27 is late for them to be erupting.

I haven't gone to the dentist yet to get the x-ray. Gawd, I hate that metallic taste. Bleh!

EDIT: I gotta find out who my dentist is. 😱

you need a panorex xray stat. nothing goes into your mouth with one of those. 😛
well... except a little plastic piece in the front to open your bite a bit.

I feel for ya. I had all mine removed at the same time when I was like a sr. in high school. Pretty much remember being in pain, having a mouth full of gauze, and not feeling much else for about 2 days. Best part is when they give you that little water bottle thing so you can keep the sockets cleaned out until your gums grow back together. Painful just thinking about it....

Good luck!

The worst part is that I so busy at work that I can't take any time off to get this looked. 🙁 (At least not until the end of next week.)

How long until you can talk normally again?

As well, what is the rough price range for it?

Don't know about the price since it was covered by my insurance, but as for your other question, you can talk normally the first day, it's eating thats the problem.

I'm 24 (almost 25) and mine are just now popping in... Dentist said I'd probably have to have them pulled but I haven't had any problems yet, and besides, I think my dentist just likes the thought of all that potential money 😉
