Can't get any sound now. Wonder what happened. It clearly made sounds earlier today.
Oh well. It's been working fine since Nov '99.

My Audigy crossed the threshold yesterday. It crackles, it pops, it screeches, and it does all of this randomly without warning. I tried to resolve the issue with Creative's tech support, but oh so conveniently for them it took just enought time for my warranty to wear out before they told me to send it back for repairs. :| I may have to take some of the advice being tossed around in here for non-Creative sound cards.

Microcenter has a Soundblaster PCI card on sale for $9.99. This would beat most onboard soundchips and yet be compatible with almost every system out there.

Audigy sucks soooo bad, I beg you to avoid it. M-audio revolution is teh best, imho.
