I was online last night when my connection suddenly died. I went through the usual gamut of stuff, including unplugging the router and my cable modem and rebooting. No go. I also tried both reinstalling the NIC under XP and booting into linux to see if it was a flaky driver issue. Also no luck. I then discovered that all the computers on my network were not getting their IPs from the router's DHCP table. I am also unable to ping the router or use the browser-based management utility. The modem works fine as I am now running it straight through to my NIC on my PC. On the router, all the appropriate lights were on for my computer, but the red diag LED is on the entire time, which I cannot remember if that was normal or not. I tried holding down the reset button on the back, but the router does not respond to that either. Any ideas as to what I should do?

BTW, Here is my config
Linksys BEFRS81 8-port router
WindowsXP Pro/ Mandrake Linux 8.2 on machine #1
Windows 2000 on machine #2
