I think my roommate's whole family took the short bus to school.

My roommate (23 years old) is watching "Ernest Goes to Jail" with his parents right now on my couch. It's not like they're just lazy and it came on TV. His parents specicifcally brought the DVD over so they could all watch it.

Maybe my family is weird, but if I went home and saw my parents watching an "Ernest" movie, I'd have to have them X-rayed to see if aliens had stolen thier brains or something.

You should show your roomates family some of your threads on ATOT, and see what they think of you.

Yup, a family actually sitting down to watch an Ernest movie is pretty weird. CAT scan anyone? :D

But I did like Ernest Goes to Jail

I vaguely remember watching one of the Ernest movies with my family when I was little. Maybe they grew up on it... kind of like how people watch GI Joe, Transformers, etc. Everyone in my family has or almost has a Masters degree, so I doubt any of us took the short bus.

I watched the South Park Movie with my mom, and we rented Jackass and watched it as a family. :D

My first roommate when I moved off to college had the strangest parents ever. I was pretty hung over one morning and he had already left, so when the phone rang I had to manage to drag myself out of bed to get it. This is about 8 in the morning mind you. It was his dad, and as soon as I stumbled out a "Hello?" he burst into song about Jesus eating cheeseburgers and such. The he asked if Milburn was there (yup, that was his name. the rest of it is about x10 stranger but I won't mention on here), and I said no and bid him a good day then went back to sleep. Sh!t like that happened between his dad and me about once a week for the rest of the quarter (always on the phone though thank god).

Hey! Stop making fun of my family, Tyler! By the way, stop looking at me like that, and you have a HUGE booger hanging out of your nose. Oh, and make sure you wash your dishes before you go to bed.

I don't believe that you can find those movies funny unless you are in the bottom 1/3 of intelligence, when compared to the general population. Even as a child I found them stupid.

I don't watch a lot of movies with my family.

The last two movies I remember my dad renting were "Animal Farm" and "The Manchurian Candidate".

Isn't the new version of Manchurian Candidate coming out soon?

IIRC, his roommate is a card carrying member of ATOT who posted pics of his gf and valiantly defended her for months. The_Good_Guy probably doesn't need defending in this thread from you. :)

I don't live with him anymore. TGG's dad is an aerospace engineer. I doubt he watches much Ernest.

It must really suck living with a whiny bitch as yourself. You have done nothing but bitch about your past three roommates.
