I have Abit KT7-RAID motherboard comes with the following bios:

08/25/2000-8363-686A-6A6LMA19C-UL

I downloaded the latest BIOS from Abit's site -- kt7yh.exe (02/14/2001) and
updated by running the "runme.bat" directly. I was having some problem initially but after receiving some very helpful suggestion from abit newsgroup I tried
something out. I tried disable the Video shadow in BIOS and finally be able
to flash it. I saw everything running smoothly and the process completed. Then I hit F1 (reset) and my system reboot. However I suddenly heard 3-beep sounds followed by
blank screen!! Oh gosh, is my board dead now??? Please help... What can I do
at this time???

Thanks

How do I actually do that?

[1] Unplug the power, short pin 1-2 of JP1 for few seconds, put it back and plug the power back?

[2] Unplug the power, short pin 1-2 of JP1 and plug the power back for few second, put the pin back and power up?

Thanks
