I think my gpu runs too hot...

I have a passive cooled Gigabyte x800xl. After overclocking to 425/1000 and runniing the ATI benchmark tool, i get GPU temps up to 80 degrees. (I dont know if this is in fahrenheit or celcius, if its in celcius that would be bad because water boils at 100 degrees)

Well, think of it this way. Body temperature is 98.6 F. So if the card was running at 80F, it would have to be significantly cooler than your own body, and would be barely warm to the touch. Somehow I doubt that 🙂

i have an antec solution case, 120 mm in the back, 80 mm intake in the front, 80 mm intake on the side. No components are near the video card, so the can't be giving it heat. I wanted to buy a 3rd party coolign solution, but my fan probably doesn't have a fan controller, so what can I do? Also, is there a third party heatsink that is amazing?

Your internal body temperature is 98.6F, not external.

You buy a passively cooled X800XL for SILENCE. You do NOT overclock/look for a 3rd party cooling solution.
