I have a 21in CRT right now, i've been complaining about the quality (text) for awhile now. I've been wanting to buy an LCD but I think my girlfriend bought me one for my birthday (August).
She had a friend ask me what LCD to buy. Truly believing that it was for herself, I recommended a Dell Ultrasharp or BenQ (17in). However, if I were to buy one for myself, I'd get a 19in. Because they're so expensive right now, I decided to wait for a price drop. Anyway, the one my gf bought me is a 17in. I wouldn't mind because I use a 17in Dell at work and it's fine... but in the long run i'd rather have a 19in w/ DVI.
Because she bought it at Newegg (I think), she won't be able to exchange it. What do you guys think of this monitor? I'll use it mainly for web surfing/tv tuner and UT2k4.
I'm not complaining... I feel bad because LCDs are overpriced right now and I wanted to wait. But I'm glad I'll be getting an LCD.
