Forget where the hell I read it, but it was a comment about how guys were luckier when they were solo, rather than with a crowd.

Something about being less intimidating, more adult, etc, and more tuned in to the given situation.

I never had much luck with women when I hung with my friends, much luckier going it solo, just made time for the buddies when I wasn't looking for other stuff.

I also noticed that I'd run into a freaking million flirty chicks when I was in a relationship, and 0 when I wasn't...

Guess I'm trying to say don't dump your friends, but find time for some solo hunting.
