I think my dogs encode messages into farts.

It's the only explanation for their behavior. They operate as a perfectly choreographed team without any verbal cues. They'll be sound asleep and suddenly stand as one and demand a carrot. This will often happen when they don't have visual contact with each other, and since there is no vocalization, it has to be smell. I suppose some form of ESP is possible, but they aren't all that bright.
I may have discovered a whole new field of study.

Most dogs like carrots, they're good for their teeth and digestion. Though they may have something to do with the farting.
One of my dogs also likes apples and lettuce.

I have no idea if it's legal or not. Regardless, I was never much into it.
