EDIT: For the record, I went out to Circuit City and bought the cheapest PSU on the shelves, an Antec Basiq 350. After I put it in, the system is stable. It seems the replacement Seasonic Tornado 300 I was sent was less than stable. I'm going to chug along for a few more months, I suppose. I want to wait for EFI to replace BIOS, and if I can, I'm going to hold out on replacing this workstation for another year.

OP:
I'm typing on my CME remote keyboard right now, so please excuse the typos. IR isn't good w/ fast tying. Plus it's hard to see on my TV.

My workstation has been acting up, and I posted here with the symptoms and the best guess was that either my PSU or GPU were on their way out. I suspect the PSU personally b/c I know it was a refurb model. Anyway, after a cold boot, I can get about 3 minutes f uptime before it shuts itself off. Trying to turn it back on agin doesn't really work unless I unplug andreplug the power cable connectingmy outlet and the PSU.

Here's the problem: I havea ~1.5GB personl folder file for Outlook. I have emails that I ned to access THISIS WEEK. What wold you guys recommend? I'll be checking the forums from the gf's house later today. thankss!

If you can't swap in a new PSU and/or video card, your only option is probably to slave the drive in another machine and attempt to load the messages into Outlook from there. It may be difficult to access that folder, depending on the level of security you were using on the first machine.

good luck

Blegh. I don't have spares here at all. I kind of wanted a new machine anyway, but I kind of need a working computer to finish my applications. This is f'in ridiculous.
