I think my 3dMark01 Score is xtreme low

I just upgraded--- MSI K7N2-ISLR, AMD 2600+ 333, gf4 ti4200

the only old component i still have is PC1600 512 RAM but im upgrading that soon

anyway i had just formatted my 40 gig and installed all my stuff i do 3dmark and i get a---

10600

i used to get 9500 with my AMD Athlon 1800+ and Old Asus crap board

used default settings and games seemed to all run beautifully its just the score...

thats no bad, 10,000 is a great score, sure there is better scores out there but who cares as long as your game runs fine.

;) That is a little low, that's about the same score I achieved when I had an XP2000+ 266FSB 256MB PC2100 & 4200 @ 250/444 ... everything stock. I'd expect a bigger boost with an XP2600+ 333FSB and a 4200 which is more likely to be clocked at 250/500 default. Still not shockingly low so I wouldn't worry. Be sure you have no background tasks, have the latest drivers for your hw, appropriate BIOS settings, Vsync disabled along with things like 0xAA+0xAF etc.

How the hell can you run that slow ass ram with a 333 Mhz front side bus?

Once you get faster ram to handle your CPU bus, you should be scoring 11,500 + .
