Really, man? Just come out and say it. You do not want to come back because the fans booed you when you expected them to embrace you after you bolted for the Yankees, which you always said you would not do. Quit trying to cover it up. What did you expect to happen? You wanted a standing ovation like they gave others who left? Also, your team that you love now put you on waivers...
 
Johnny's a good actor. He always says what the fans of his current team want him to say. I think he's far more likely to allow a trade to the BoSox than he has indicated so far.
 
At this point in his career, I think Johnny Damon should be thankful that his name is not in the same list as Hank Baskett.
 
This is drama-lame. He should have just STFU'd and made his decision. Lots of ways of spinning it while not being so touchy-feely and respecting both teams at the same time.
