I've been playing around with making beer for a few months now and I've finally created something I really like.
A Honey nut brown ale of my own concoction. It tastes really good, and it must be quite strong as I'm not even done with the 3rd one and I feel great...

My hard work is finally starting to pay off!

awesome
i tried once, skrewed up and kept getting woken up by bottles exploding one by one

 good job. I've tried making beer 2x and both times were a dissapointment. Somehow I didn't have much alcohol in the beer:( I'm not letting that get in my way. I have another recipe that I'm going to try soon.

excellent! Homebrewers unite!

hehe, i have a few on tap right now....

1) barley wine... its a bit sweet, thinking about adding another alcohol tolerant yeast to see if i can get a bit more attenuation.
2) pale ale... its a simple and pure beer. I have gotten a few glowing reviews on it, but I like my beer with a bit more mouth.
3) hard cider... its light, dry and apply. wife loves it.
4) raspberry hard cider... its light, tart, dry, raspberrish and apply. Its quite yummy too.

got another Amber fermenting. It will be reading in a week or so.

Cheers and beers,

Cool. Any secrets to making beer (or any good websites)? I inherited my grandpa's beer making set when he died and have no clue how to use it. Any suggestions?
