Bombing run is tough though...I still haven't gotten the hang of it. I played on an FF bombing run server last night and I kept killing my teammates trying to get to the ball. And clearing a room of opposing team members with the redeemer becomes impossible too.

Spend some time on instagib servers....really forces you to learn how to aim your shots.

Have you figured out how to pass the ball directly to a teammate yet? You can end-run the defenders pretty handily this way if your teammates are paying attention.
(right-click and hold while aimed at teammate, wait for locked-on "tone", left-click to pass. Ball will home in on them)

instagib rules...I love that. Right now I'm trying to master the double jump and the bouncing off walls. I saw a guy pull it off beautifully on one of the maps. He was like Jet Li the way he was bouncing around and shooting guys. Too bad his aim sucked He could have been down right deadly since he kept jumping behind the pipes on the ceilings.

I've only had the ball for about a split second during instagib and I think I threw it away right after I got it. I didn't know pressing fire makes you drop it at the time. What servers do you guys play on?

I try to hop on Entity's AT server whenever it's up and running (UT2K3 Demo server BTW).

pull down the console and type "open andandtech.kicks-ass.net" minus the quotes.

Plunk "[AT]" in front of your handle so we'll know who's from AT and who isn't.

I'm sure more retail servers will crop up once more folks actually own the game. I'm waiting for a break on the current price before I grab it.
