Just got an email from compgeeks.
MSI Model MS-8853
nVidia GeForce3 Ti-500 Chipset
64MB DDR SDRAM Memory
TV out

Use $15 geek coupon elsewhere to get it to $92. $107 otherwise.

I wonder if this will go as quickly as the regular GF3's that CompGeeks had for $67.

Considering you can get a better GF4 Ti4200 for a little more and a Radeon 8500LE for around this price, it's not that hot.

I agree about the Radeon, but the Ti4200 is almost 50% more expensive (150$) I haven't seen it around for much cheaper then that

You can find GF4 Ti4200 for about $130, but they offer more performance over the Radeon 8500LE and the GF3 Ti500. I think the GF3 Ti500 even performs better than Radeon 8500LE, I'm not sure...

Yech it's a tough call being on the fringe of a generic 64mb Geforce4 Ti4200. Too bad it wasn't closer to the $80 mark.

Looks like they have 1,500+ in stock.

I hope they restock that pixelview card :p

If you can't find a coupon for Compgeeks, your wallet will remain fat because you know nothing about finding techie bargains. ;)

Edit:
Maybe I reacted a little too quickly about not finding techie bargains, but check your wallet.

This isn't a bad deal - $100 even for a new MSI GF3 Ti-500 w/TV out & 3 day delivery. Those Geeks are OK

Quite a decent deal. After S&H and tax, it comes out to just as much
as the Ubid deal a few weeks ago on the Vision Xtasy 6964 retail box w/DVI.

Wonder how this card compares to the GF3 TI200 compgeeks had - I got one of those for $71.00 shipped and have been pretty happy with it. Scores 8273 out of the box on 3DMark2001SE without tweaks. OC'd to 215/500 scores over 8600.

What would you expect this card to score?

EXman - I recently tried to get an RMA on an order where they shipped the WRONG Item... So far it's been almost a week, and i've spent over an hour on the phone calling multiple times (long distance i might add), along with sending out multiple e-mails. Compgeeks tech support/ cust service is one of the worst I have seen. Granted they tend to have decent prices.... but beware, if there are problems with your order, don't expect to have that problem fixed soon. As it is, I still have yet to received any RMA or replacement order. I might have to go take this to AMEX if they don't get their show on the road.

BTW, i was shipped a Ti200 instead of a Ti500 from their last deal.....

that link always makes me sad....
my card is on the very bottom of the list :(

Be sceptical of numbers from Tom's Hardware etc... The graphs are misleading. Only sure way is to see for your self.
