i have listened to him for a long time (10+ years now) and am devotes, but this is getting ridiculous now.

he is charging his fans way too much.

first he goes to sirius ($200 a year) and now video on demand, this sucks balls.

dont know what i will do....

Last time i checked $13/mo x 12 = $156

And usually when you prepay, you get 1-2 months free.

That and howard isnt the ONLY thing on sirius you know, there are 100+ other channels.
 
He has no talent...his show is stupid....its a friggin joke.

His TV show is so lame...it should be renamed... "So, your are a vapid and dumb slvt, and you want to be a porn star...let me see what me and my colleagues think."

yup stern is charging extra. you don't think he's getting paid $500million for nothing?
 
There's a big difference between XM and Sirius.

Sirius is $13 a month, for ALL of their channels. They don't do premium channels, or extra cost channels. You pay $13 and get em all.

XM charges $13 a month for their basic package, then they charge extra for other channels like sports and whatnot.


Pay for a year at a time with Sirius and it's only like $10 a month or so.

You don't have to pay extra for channels on XM. The only channel you have to pay for is playboy, but who wants that?

No, he isn't. Why are you posting on a subject on which you are obviously ignorant? Howard announced at the time he signed the deal that his show would not be on a premium channel; that was a condition of his contract.

I am a HUGE Stern fan, and have been for the last ten years or so. That said, I don't really care about the E! show, and will probably never purchase his show On Demand. The radio show has actually been better since the E! show went off, in that they haven't been as compelled to have token hot-chick segments, which are dull on radio. His old CBS show was much better IMO. I definitely look forward to hearing him on Sirius, however.

I guess I don't get his rationale for the On Demand shows - my guess is that if anything he made more from E! than he will make for the OD programming. That said, he's nothing if not clever when it comes to brokering a deal, and I imagine he knows what he's doing.
 
I tried listening to him in the mornings and his cr@p always gets old FAST. The sound effects in the background are lame, his guests are all the same (some slut who wants to be in Playboy or some mentally retarded person), etc.
