I read an article a long time ago,I think it was cdrinfo where there was either a quad or eight layer blu ray recordable disc being burned with a (I think it was a panasonic) standard burner but using modified firmware.If this is so then PS3s should be able to read the disc with new updates.
Just when are these discs going to be out and when are we going to be able to buy pre stamped shows on this tech? This would be just the thing for series.
And where does the new 33Bpl fit in? Are they goin to be able to scale this to quad layer?
