My father came to town the other day with his latest toy- a 50 caliber Desert Eagle, all black. We went to a shooting range in Long Island. Damn, the sound this gun makes is unbelievable. I want one so bad but the laws in NYC are fucked up.

DE 50 cal is the only pistol I've found that I can shoot with any accuracy. I think it is due to the weight counteracting my general shakiness, that and I haven't had a whole lot of other handguns - a few revolvers, colt (Military issue model).

:laugh:. When I was standing behind him I could see a hollow blast radius. This thing is awesome. I think I'll jump through all the hoops in NYC to have this thing in my apartment.

I always thought the Desert Eagle was one of the worst handguns to shoot with and its more for show? Not a gun enthusiast and going by what i have heard from other people.

There is no reason whatsoever for such weapons other than making really big holes into people.

At the gun competitions where you have to shoot the bowling pins OFF the table I hear they come in handy.

if you ever run out of ammo you can always club people with it, so it sorta of a duel purpose weapon

I have found a lot of people are like this with guns. They think it's going to jump up on its own and blast them in the face. :laugh: :D
