I think I'll probably skip over the current generation of consoles and wait for the next offerings from Sony, MS, and Nintendo. I'm still finding great DC games and only spending $10-$20 per title. Not to mention all the savings on accessories (I guess Sega dumping the DC wasn't *all* bad ;)). Granted my sports games are getting dated, but that doesn't bug me too much. There is just nothing out there right now that grabs me and says "buy me you fool, buy me" Although when Soul Calibur 2 comes out I might have a change of heart... Plus I barely have time to play on my DC or PC now. If I bought a new console it would just collect dust like my current gaming devices.

Oh well, just decided to share. :)

You are wise. **looks over at dusty xbox and PS2**

I just bought a GC this weekend to play Metroid, I'm sure it will hold my interest for a couple weeks. After that who knows.

ship it to me. I'll play it for two weeks, get bored, and ship it back. Then you'll be like "Sweet, I missed my GC." Then wait two weeks and ship it back to me again. We'll keep doing this until a new system comes out or the UPS guy swipes the GC for himself. ;)

Same here. Although I could get a good deal ($180) on a new XBox or PS2 ... I think I'll wait for the next generation of consoles.

I am still very much enjoying my DC. I have barely started playing the RPG's it has to offer. I am having a hard time finding Grandia 2 though.

I bought an Xbox and a Gamecube within a week of each other.

I have 11 games for the Gamecube, and 9 for the Xbox.

Average price for the Xbox games is $21.66

Average price for the Gamecube games is $18.35

Granted some are not new (most), but I'm willing to make the sacrifice right now (don't have a lot of money).

Xbox games:

Splinter Cell (new)
Project Gotham (new)
Sega GT2002 (free!)
Jet Set Radio Future (free) (give this title and Sega GT2002 a $30 value)
Halo (used)
Rallisport Challenge (used)
Bloodwake (used)
Hunter (used)
Blood Omen 2 (used)

Gamecube:

Mortal Kombat (new)
Luigi's Mansion (used)
Wave Race (used)
Mario Sunshine (new)
Metroid Prime (new)
Wreckless (new)
Rogue Squadron (used)
Pikmin (used)
Eternal Darkness (used)
Extreme G3 (used)
Resident Evil (used)
