it has really good coverage in my area... but that doesnt have anything to do with what phone would be better?

My friend has the samsung a620(maybe an older model though) but he hasn't had any problems with it. Don't know about that sanyo.

Sprint sucks gerbil ass through a slurpee straw.

Get Verizon.

Coverage will be at least as good if not better, customer service is leaps and bounds ahead of Sprint's, and you won't be saddled with dealing with completely oblivious and mentally deficient reps on the phone.

Did I mention that I hate Sprint? No? Well, I hate Sprint.
 
sprint is good if: you NEVER need to call CS and if you need it for phone calls (no internet, no texting)

coverage is good in my area.

no texting? whats wrong with it? a friend of mine had sprint for a while and liked it a lot.. its supposed to work really well in my area... and i dont think he had a problem with texting... can you explain what you meant please?
