I think I'm allergic to chocolate....

I looked up the word allergy in the dictionary:

Allergy n. -- A condition in which the body has an exaggerated response to a substance (eg food or drug).

This would explain anytime I get near chocolate I end up stampeding toward it and eating it without control. I'm in the middle of my afternoon snack of Mrs. Freshley's creme filled chocolate cupcakes. Those things are the devil!!!! (devil's food to be exact)

It's funny.. the more a chocolate fan I become, the more picky I get about what is considered chocolate. I used to allow filled chocolates in the same category but these days if it isn't a single original, greater than 70% dark chocolate, it isn't chocolate.

I used to question the chocolateness of white chocolate. Hah. Then it was Milk chocolate. Feh! 56% dark chocolate? Pansy! Try Michel Cluizel's Infini - 99%. Now that's chocolate.

99% tastes like dirt... I enjoy 85% but my wife can't take it... so we compromise on 72%...
