And I've been eating it all these years too. I've noticed that when I dont eat it, symptoms like a runny nose, congestion, etc. don't happen.

When I do, this happens. Hell. :(

Your symptoms don't sound like broccoli allergies...

"Symptoms

Symptoms of broccoli allergy typically occur minutes to an hour after the ingestion of broccoli or a food that contains broccoli. These symptoms include tingling or itching of the mouth, a skin rash or hives, swelling of the lips, hands or feet, difficulty breathing, cough, nausea, vomiting and dizziness. Any combination or all of these symptoms may occur in the setting of an allergic reaction. A severe allergic reaction known as anaphylaxis can also occur. This is a life-threatening reaction that involves throat constriction, difficulty breathing, and dizziness with decreased blood pressure."

Hrmm, well I think I might have a mild allergy, but I certainly have difficulty breathing and get congested, and I only get it down in San Diego, and I only really eat Broccili here (dont ask me why).

Those symptoms assume you're not snorting it.

My dad has a similar problem. He was having all kinds digestive system problems. He stopped eating his daily pear and everything went away.

Yea Idk, I just get these problems, and it's only in one place. I.e. when I'm in LA I'm fine, but I go down to SD and I have problems breathing, excess mucus in the throat, it's just a fiasco.
