Well, here is pictures of my case, so you can see what i am talking about:

http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp...pg/11-148-028-15.jpg/11-148-028-14.jpg

Now, my case has 1 120mm rear fan, and 1 80mm side fan...i cant put a front fan for intake, because no air would get in...there are no openings in the front at all...and i am going to be running an FX-55 and X850XT PE, so i need some really good cooling...now i don't think i need to get a new case, but i do think that water cooling might be a much better solution for this problem...i have been reading A LOT about water cooling, and i like how i would be able to use it on my next computer, and i think it would keep temperatures a lot cooler than 2 fans could...what do you think? i just cant get this idea out of my head >_<

Get a new case with a quality PSU, it'll be cheaper and might run cooler... or buy a Zalman watercooling kit, those are good at cooling and silent - expensive though.

Well, i plan on buying a 550W power supply instead...and all cases are pretty much the same, and i just think this one looks cool :D

Yeesh, that case's PSU is garbage... 16Amps MAX on the 12V rail for a unit that claims to be 480W.

Heck, my Seasonic Super Tornado puts out 18A on its 12V rail and it's a 300W unit.

to the OP: Just mod the case by cutting a few fan holes. Much cheaper than water cooling and will work just as good, especially if you don't overclock.

And use the money you saved towards buying a Seasonic PSU.

He has never heard of Seasonic, therefore they must be bad

I agree. With his bugget and what he's getting a S12-500 or S12-600 would be good.

You are buying a FX55 and a 8500XT and you can't buy a decent case such as the CM Stacker or TT Armor for good cooling???

then why'd you buy that one??? j/k

i suggest pawning that off on a 13yr old spongebob junkie down the street and shelling out for a quality case with good cooling. even with water you still need to have good air flow in your case? you have your HDD's and opticals, your northbridge (which would've received cooling from you HSF), your memory. i think one of the new thermaltakes (no PSU) is the way to go. i'm running the bigwater 12 and it's excellent! spent $200 shipped for my whole setup. i'd recommend this case. it's built to hold an in case water setup. gotta ditch that case, bro.

it has vents just above the front panel usb/mic/etc. under the vented door. I'd also guess there is vent room on the bottom of the front panel....if not, a dremel can fix that post haste and not be visible.
