I decided to travel across the city in a blinding blizzard, arriving within 5 mins of them closing, to pick up my video card.

I am in London Ontario and we are getting hammered by snow. I can't see 2 feet out the windows of my house.

We should get 30cm of snow.

Environment Canada Weather Warning:

SNOWSQUALLS PRODUCING HEAVY SNOW BURSTS..WHITEOUTS AND TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR SNOWBELT REGIONS..

THIS IS A WARNING THAT SNOWSQUALLS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS.

SNOWSQUALLS HAVE DEVELOPED TO THE SOUTHEAST OF SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY AND LAKE HURON AS A COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS CROSSES THE RELATIVELY WARM WATERS OF THE GREAT LAKES.

SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY..RADAR INDICATES THAT THE INTENSE BAND THAT HAD BEEN LOCKED INTO POSITION MUCH OF THE DAY FROM WASAGA BEACH TO JUST EAST OF INNISFIL HAS BECOME SOMEWHAT DISORGANIZED AND HAS DRIFTED WESTWARD SLIGHTLY. IT CURRENTLY LIES FROM JUST EAST OF OWEN SOUND TO ABOUT ALLISTON. WITHIN THIS SQUALL UP TO 20 CENTIMETRES OF SNOWFALL HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPORTED. ADDITIONAL LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO 15 CENTIMETRES ARE POSSIBLE BEFORE THE SQUALL WEAKENS OVERNIGHT OR EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. MOTORISTS TRAVELLING IN THESE AREAS ARE ADVISED THAT THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOW AND NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES WILL PRODUCE LOCAL WHITEOUTS AND TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

LAKE HURON..RADAR IS CURRENTLY SHOWING AN INTENSE BAND EXTENDING FROM ABOUT BAYFIELD THROUGH LONDON TO ABOUT AYLMER. THIS BAND IS EXPECTED TO STAY MORE OR LESS LOCKED IN THIS ORIENTATION THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS THEN BEGIN TO DRIFT EASTWARD AS IT GRADUALLY WEAKENS OVERNIGHT. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 15 TO 20 CENTIMETRES ARE LIKELY WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 30 CENTIMETRES POSSIBLE. AGAIN..MOTORISTS TRAVELLING IN THESE AREAS..INCLUDING PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 401 AND 402..ARE ADVISED THAT THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOW AND NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES WILL PRODUCE LOCAL WHITEOUTS AND TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

The fact that you actually left your house and 'travelled' disqualifies you from uber geekdom. Put on some more weight, add a star wars (or worse, star trek) quote to your sig and start ordering anything and everything from your computer. You must not leave your chair until your sweaty arse causes the chairs material to breakdown and fall apart.

Then you can order a new chair online and bask in your newly found Uber Geekiness.
