I don't know, I know I had one package shipped from texas that traveled via hitchhiker. It was a power supply and it stopped in every single state between here and there. The power supply ended up being wrong, the replacement took longer because it went to four cities in texas, one twice. And just when I thought that was bad, when I sent back the original, I sent it USPS instead of the UPS that the company was using, and it took three weeks to get there.

DHL sucks. Our company switched to using them for paycheck delivery and in the last 2 years they have delivered the paychecks late 3 times (violating state (federal?) laws about when paychecks have to be available) and have completely LOST them 3 times (new ones had to be issued and our office had to offer cash advances to anyone who needed them) - seriously, who loses a box of 350 paychecks??!!

We deal with DHL, Fedex and UPS alot and, IME UPS is the best with Fedex a reasonably close second. DHL doesn't even register

I have had them state that my package was at their facility for 3 days then with courier for 2 days, then a failed delivery, then my package smelled like cigarette smoke. I am not a fan.

I've had my best experience with DHL with fedex coming in second, UPS really sucks, almost every time they mess something up or have some weird delay. I guess it just depends on the logistics of where you live and how many facilities they have in your area.

I am one of DHL's biggest fans! Especially after they threw a replacement hard drive over my parents fence and left it there to be rained on and chewed on by their dog. :|

i thought it was universally known that DHL was the worst possible service you could use?

Wow that really sucks! My experiences have never been that delayed, only a day or two max. I prefer UPS and Fedex over DHL.

Enh, don't feel too bad about it. If it makes you feel any better, I used to work for a big name courier, and we'd often seen packages dated months to almost a year later, burried somewhere.

DHL does not have good connections. But if you can get a direct connection to the Wilmington's, OH hub.... you are golden!

DHL is terrible here. Ordered a package from somewhere about 250 miles away. Estimated to get there the next day. I got it 7 days later. Said they attempted delivery, but they never did. Kept saying out for delivery for the whole week and the guy never came until today. UPS is so much better.

I use DHL whenever possible, they always get my package to me in pristine condition and at least 1 day before est delivery (which is always reasonable). It's not unusual to get a package in 2-3 days with 3-7 days+ service/est delivery.

Dell had shipped me a few packages through them. They wouldn't let me sign so they would just leave the package so it had to be redelivered several times, which the guy actually complained about as if it was my fault (apparently the closest DHL hub is an hour away).

After a few packages (and him missing at least once everytime) the guy asked me what I did. I told him I was going to college and he basically said, "duh, no sh!t" in response, and then asked the same question again. Well I guess the blank stare must have alerted him that I had no clue what he was actually wanting to know because then he asked what time I would be available. After that he was actually nice for some reason.

Was the guy who delivered it riding a Pachyderm? :)

Perhaps it moved at the pace of an Arachnidae.

I have had only one experience w/ DHL, & it's still going on right now :|

Logitech decided to send me my warranty replacement mouse via DHelL.

DHL attempted to deliver while i was at work, & then kindly didn't bother leaving a note, email, or call regarding that fact, so i didn't check the tracking till Friday night, when they were closed...so i wait 3 days (long weekend), & call them yesterday.

Apparently, my package is sitting at their international airport location, only a nice hour drive away from here! (& i don't have a car).
So they say i have one more delivery attempt allowed, & they assure me it'll be a redirected delivery to my work today.

All today passes, no delivery.

So i phone them now, & apparently they are likely moving them to the other depot before delivering, so i should get them tomorrow.

Except the tracking info says nothing of this, & the customer service chick doesn't seem to have any more info than the tracking site does, so i have this funny feeling nothing is gonna happen tomorrow either...though she claims she's making another note for them.

I'll be amazed if i get my package tomorrow...
