My gf's little brother (17 or 18 y/o) is coming to visit...

we were grocery shopping and she fills the cart with frozen pizza and frozen mac and cheese. I ask, "Why don't you just get him better food?"

Her Response, "He can't cook that well"

My Response, "Ok, get some burgers and just tell him to pan fry it"

Her response, "He can't cook"

Me, "OK, get him some mac and cheese...the instant one"

Her, "I told you, he can't cook...he has never touched a stove in his life".

WTF...how hard is it to prepare instant food? You f'n passed 15 years old you still rely on mom for food? I can see the next week now...him complaining that he has nothing to eat during lunch while we are at work. SOmeone just shoot me now.

I hope this does not end in a terrible mess that happened between me and my gf's sis. Maybe it is time to find some other possible in laws....

Ha my BiL is over 40 and can;t cook. I had to show him how to make a hamburger. And even then he wants to only use the toaster oven to do it.

I worked with a guy who was over 70, and still couldn't cook for himself. Whenever his wife went out of state, she left TV dinners to microwave, and he could make himself PBJ sandwiches. If it weren't for that he'd starve to death :^D
