well i was just messing with a guy and i got 3 hr suspension for a racial slur in WoW. i forgot cause i forgot and then that some people are hawks waiting to report anyone and use I normal talking. and then while im in ZF i randomly got D/Ced so im like wtf? then i tried to log bac in and it says the account got suspended check a link and see why. i wen there its says i should have gotten an email. i got no email so i thought they got things messed up and like 10 min later i got the email saying i had a 3hr ban blah, blah, blah. so now im trying to find out what to do.nothing on TV. im extremely bored. im going insane cause i cant do anything. at this point i think i realize this game IS addicting. i gotta wait til 3 am roughy

I've reported racial slurs in WoW. This isn't 1750, and their servers are in California, not rural Alabama. You should learn your lesson, not complain. And while you're in the learning mood, your basic punctuation could use some work. While I don't know you or the situation, it's easy to assume based on your post that you're part of the ~95% of the WoW playerbase who's either <14 or has the IQ of a mildly retarded chimp. The game has glaring problems, but all pale in comaprison to its playerbase.

The OP's situation is why we have TV tuner cards. Fire up the television. TV is awesome these days, so many good shows: SuperNatural, Most Shocking, Kyle XY (although I hate the new season so far), select 4400 episodes (third season sucked, the first episode of the new season looks ok), etc.

If only HBO had not canceled Carnivale or whoever was making the new Kolchak: The Night Stalker series. Both were superb, cant wait for the new season of The Dresden Files though.

Haha I'm thinking three soon... but I'd need another monitor and video card for that... or just use my laptop instead. The decisions!! I mean the problem with my dynamic duo is that they don't support very good DPS overall. I mean my warrior and priest took a 5-man rare elite down to 50% before I messed up and died (accidentally dragged a potion down and overwrote my greater heal... I guess clicking isn't so good ). I doubt I would've got that mob further than 40% though, he was smacking me hard (~1000 per hit) and I was running really low on mana as it was at 50% with just my warrior DPSing. Although, I think I kind of messed up since I was in Defensive Stance and I had no access to Mortal Strike in Defensive Stance at that time (it used to be on my top bar but I moved it down). But if I had some DPS with me, I bet he would've died .

I'm also tempted to roll a Night Elf Priest to replace my Dwarf. As funny as a decision as that sounds, if I want to do "solo" 2v2 PVP, there's no way I can afford to not use a night elf for its Shadowmeld ability. That'll simply give me much more ability to hide so my priest isn't a sitting duck from the start. It'd be a lot of work to level though.

Someone said they would report me after I swore once toward them (a relatively minor "curse" if I remember right and I think it was in some argument.... was awhile ago so I can't even remember). It's pretty sad how childish players can be threatening to tell Mama Blizzard if you even say a *gasp* bad word. Reminds me of when I was like 5 and my brother would try to get me to say "Darkwing Duck" with F's instead of D's just so he could tattle on me .

I'm suprised that I haven't been reported at least once. I'm generally a pretty sedate player but I have one weakness that will make me fly off the handle almost every time, and that is the phrase "Just let them win." Utter it just once in my battleground and I'll cuss you out as long as time permits. WSG is serious business!!

I was reported once (email from a GM and all, but no banning) for calling a goblin NPC in Gadgetzan a prostitute with the /say (so someone standing around must have reported me). The reporting is way out of hand!

If someone's a -real- jackass I'll report them for saying just about anything I think is report-worthy. I'm talking about people who really deserve it though, not someone I simply disagree with or don't much like, not simply a spammer or beggar; that's what ignore is for (though I do use the new report feature for gold sellers). Obviously, I'm not actually offended or anything. But until an invention allows us to reach through the internet and slap people, we have to come up with these workarounds.

Last person I reported was for informing a 20-29 WSG group, which was losing because of his own stupidity, that we were losing because the other 9 of us were stupid homosexuals and/or African-Americans, though he didn't use those exact terms. I like to think he enjoyed his 3 hours, and hope it was actually 3 days (the more severe 'standard' ban the GMs use).

Regardless, it behooves one to remember that many, many, many, many, many very young children play WoW () and that rules are made accordingly. There are effective ways of telling someone they're a fscking douchebag without breaking these rules
